Back to School…Supply “list”

Let me just say, I kinda miss going back to school. The excitement of what you’re gonna wear on the first day, who you’re gonna see, all that fun stuff. But, my favorite part was back to school shopping! I loved getting pens, pencils, and notebooks. So, who cares if by the third week I wasn’t using any of that stuff, the joy was in the initial purchase moment…that moment when you get home and organize. Telling yourself “this year, I’m gonna study and be organized!” Btw, never happens. If I were who I am now, back when I was going to school (2 years ago,) the above is what my supply list would’ve looked like.

Listen, I’m not saying put all this together. If you want, by all means do. I just like these particular pieces.

Burberry Drivers cap, Chanel Noir perfume, Karl by Karl Lagerfeld collar, Vogue, Chanel backpack (not jansport psh,) Ray Ban Wayfarers glasses, MAC Red lipstick, T by Alexander Wang leather pants, Chloe top, and Gucci booties

The September IsShoe.

The other day when I was putting my new Isabel Marant sneakers in my closet, I decided to do a whole closet cleanse. And I realized something. I have no clothes, yet I still trashed some. And not a lot of shoes. I may only have 13 pairs or shoes, but 9 or those pairs are extremely high end…My point, you don’t need 100 pairs of shoes, you just need a few great investment pairs, Or as I like to call them, my “not bad for a broke girl” shoes.

Drumroll please…

My shoe collection…(some not shown for different reasons, which are to be explained at the end.) Shall we do this alphabetically? Yes.

1. Badgley Mischka (around $200)

I got them on super sale for around $70. I love Badgley Mischka, they remind me of Manolos. I call these my Carrie Bradshaw shoes.

2. CHANEL Big CC Ballet Flats ($795)

(which you have seen on me before, shown in chanel box above)

3. CHANEL flats (other) ($700)

Got these never been worn at a consignment store in Brentwood for $200. I have these in more of cream color, but I sent them to chanel be re-soled and they totally messed them up, which is why they are not in the picture.

4. Gucci Jelly Flats ( around $230)

I got these at a consignment store in Brentwood for $40. Score!

5. Isabel Marant Betty Sneaker ($665)

No words. Love.

6. Nike LunaRacer+ ($105)

On sale now for $84. But I got mine for $65 at niketown in Beverly Hills. Don’t know how.

7. Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots ($595)

My pride and joy of boots. I got these on sale for $300! Bam Baby!

8. Tory Burch Patent Thora Sandal ($115)

Mine have a gold sign instead of silver. You really need to break into these shoes, they hurt so much! Tory Burch really does not make comfortable shoes in my opinion.

9. Yves Saint Lauren (Price unknown)

Love these! Also got these at a Brentwood consignment store, never been worn, for $200! I love consignment stores, you get the best stuff!

My shoe collection is worth $4000, I only spent $2500 on it. Not bad huh?

And I guess that’s it…for now. Can’t wait to I add to my collection!

Tea Time.

If I could, I would spend every afternoon having High Tea at the Beverly Hills Hotel, or especially The Plaza. Since I can’t right now, I choose to have tea in the front of my house, alone. Okay, so it was about 100ยบ so I didn’t actually have tea, but the five year old inside me was so excited to have a tea party with myself, if only I still had my stuffed animals! As I’ve said before, I really have never paid for a pair of shorts, the ones I’m wearing are an old pair of Paige jeans (hey look actual shorts!) that I had cut into shorts. The top I’m wearing is from this $15 store on Larchmont, I bought it in both blue and pink! The shoes are Gucci (love these) and I got them at a consignment store in Brentwood for like $40. The pearls (similar here) are my Moms from Boutique at Hotel Bel Air. The headscarf is a Tiffany&Co twilly (similar).
