I can’t remember the last time I wore these pants!! I need to wear them every day! They’re so amazing! This is probably the most comfortable outfit I have worn in a while. I hate wearing heels in the day time but this was a definite exception.

Je ne me souviens pas la dernière fois que je portais ce pantalon! J’ai besoin de les porter tous les jours! Ils sont tellement incroyable! C’est sans doute le vêtement le plus confortable que j’ai porté dans un moment. Je déteste les talons d’usure dans la journée mais c’était une exception définie.
Probably the biggest fashion story of the year was, the renaming of the famous Parisian fashion house Yves Saint Laurent to Saint Laurent. With Hedi Slimane behind the brand, the clothes have never looked better! The collections are absolutely amazing! The thing is most people are pissed about the Yves drop…I mean what about the iconic YSL logo?
Someone (don’t know who) has very succinctly expressed this disdain through a single graphic, available on black tees and crewneck sweatshirts.

Probablement la plus grande histoire de la mode de l’année a été, le changement de nom de la célèbre maison de couture parisienne Yves Saint Laurent à Saint-Laurent. Avec Hedi Slimane derrière la marque, les vêtements n’ont jamais été aussi belle! Les collections sont absolument incroyable! Le truc, c’est la plupart des gens sont furieux au sujet de la chute de Yves … Je veux dire que dire du logo iconique YSL?
Quelqu’un (je ne sais qui) a exprimé très succinctement ce dédain par un seul graphique, disponible sur les tertres noirs et sweat-shirts ras du cou.
First off, let me start by saying Mazel Tov to my gorgeous cousin Natacha on her engagement! I’ve grown up with her and remember when I would come to Paris I always wanted to send the night at her house, granted I’m 4 years younger and she was the big sister I never had! She’s the one in the white dress, if you hadn’t guessed. And that lovely man behind us is my dad! I had such a great time I can still hear all the jewish music playing in my head! It’s amazing how you feel when you’re with family, especially when you live on the other side of the planet and haven’t seen them in years!

Tout d’abord, permettez-moi de commencer par dire Mazel Tov à ma cousine Natacha magnifique sur ses fiancailles! J’ai grandi avec elle et je me souviens quand je venez à Paris, j’ai toujours voulu dormire chez elle, j’ai aussi 4 ans moins qu’elle, est elle était la grande sœur que je n’ai jamais eu! Elle porte la robe blanche, si vous n’aviez pas deviné. Et cet homme charmant derrière nous, c’est mon père! J’ai eu un excellent moment je peux encore entendre toute la musique juive dans ma tête! C’est incroyable de voir comment vous vous sentez quand vous êtes en famille, surtout quand on vit de l’autre côté de la planète et ne les ai pas vu depuis des années!

I have always wanted to wear heels randomly, but always felt really awkward about it. I decided to bite the bullet and go for it! I figured if I made my outfit super casual it would even out. So, I got my vintage ysl pumps on with my jeans and thermal and headed out to the mall! I think the starbucks cup adds more of a casual touch. Like, “It’s 10am and I’m wearing gold heels at the mall..but I have a starbucks cup so it’s all good,” if that makes sense.

J’ai toujours eu envie de porter des talons au hasard, mais toujours senti vraiment bizarre à ce sujet. J’ai décidé de serrer les dents et allez-y! J’ai pensé que si je faisais une tenue décontractée, il serait même sur. Donc, j’ai eu mes vintage pompes YSL avec mon jeans et thermiques et dirigés vers le centre commercial! Je pense que la tasse Starbucks ajoute plus d’une touche décontractée. Comme: «C’est 10h du matin et je porte des talons d’or au centre commercial .. mais j’ai une tasse Starbucks donc c’est bon”, si cela fait sens.
Officially after labor day! And yes, I am wearing all white…and gold! I went to Neiman Marcus for Fashion’s Night Out and they had people doing hair so I had the braid done. It made me feel very ethereal, so I wanted to take ethereal-ish pics. You be the judge. I tried. Remember hyde? He’s back! All these clothes are old. The top is Rebecca Beeson from about 5 years ago (want this from topshop). The shorts are the Paige jeans that I had cut (actual Paige shorts here). The shoes are YSL that I got at a consignment shop in Brentwood (love these too). The necklace was from Macy’s on sale a few years ago.
The other day when I was putting my new Isabel Marant sneakers in my closet, I decided to do a whole closet cleanse. And I realized something. I have no clothes, yet I still trashed some. And not a lot of shoes. I may only have 13 pairs or shoes, but 9 or those pairs are extremely high end…My point, you don’t need 100 pairs of shoes, you just need a few great investment pairs, Or as I like to call them, my “not bad for a broke girl” shoes.

I got them on super sale for around $70. I love Badgley Mischka, they remind me of Manolos. I call these my Carrie Bradshaw shoes.

Mine have a gold sign instead of silver. You really need to break into these shoes, they hurt so much! Tory Burch really does not make comfortable shoes in my opinion.
9. Yves Saint Lauren (Price unknown)
Love these! Also got these at a Brentwood consignment store, never been worn, for $200! I love consignment stores, you get the best stuff!
My shoe collection is worth $4000, I only spent $2500 on it. Not bad huh?
And I guess that’s it…for now. Can’t wait to I add to my collection!
